In 1914, brothers Alfieri, Ettore and Ernesto created Maserati from their shared passion for motorsports and engineering. Today, Il Tridente enters a new era.
Maserati’s future strategy has electrification at its core, underlining a pledge to introduce electric variants for all its models by 2025, ultimately transitioning to exclusively full-electric vehicles by 2030. This ambitious blueprint mirrors the audacious spirit that has always characterised the Trident brand, propelling it boldly into the future.
We love Maserati for its distinctively Italian identity, its capacity to evoke emotions through premium and exclusive offerings, and the enchantment of innovation. In truth, these elements are precisely what the automotive industry will demand in the years ahead.

So, what’s new?
The Maserati GranTurismo Folgore, the brand’s first 100% electric car, and the Grecale Folgore, its inaugural full-electric SUV, mark the beginning of this transformative journey into the brand’s new, electric future.
The forthcoming, next-generation Maserati Quattroporte is on the verge of final approval, slated for its launch in 2024. It’ll hit the market as a more compact, exceptionally opulent, and exclusively electric replacement for both the existing V8 model and its Ghibli counterpart.
Built on the STLA platform, which will serve as the foundation for all future EVs from Maserati and the majority of models across its 13 Stellantis sister brands, the Quattroporte Folgore will stand as the brand’s third electric vehicle (after the GranTurismo Folgore and Grecale Folgore).
However, the Quattroporte will be the first to be offered exclusively in an electric configuration without a combustion engine option. So, it’ll play a pivotal role in sculpting the brand’s trajectory towards a combustion-free powertrain by 2030.

What else has Maserati in store for 2024? Plenty more Italian flare, that’s what.
In 2024, the Maserati Levante will make a commanding entrance onto the luxury SUV stage, blending impressive athletic performance with opulent style. While the base model boasts a twin-turbo V-6 engine, it’s the optional twin-turbo V-8 that truly stands out as the preferred choice for Il Tridente enthusiasts.
The 2024 Ghibli, exuding both style and power, marks the gateway into Maserati’s sports-saloon range, and it certainly doesn’t compromise on performance. Equipped with either the 424-hp twin-turbo V-6 or the robust 572-hp twin-turbo V-8, the Ghibli offers impressive speed, and this exhilarating acceleration is complemented by its harmonious exhaust notes.
