What's in Lamborghini Air Filters?

The air filter is a crucial component of your car’s intake system, designed to trap dirt, dust, debris, and other airborne contaminants before they enter the engine. It ensures only clean air reaches the combustion chamber, maintaining engine performance, fuel efficiency, and longevity. Typically made from pleated paper, foam, or cotton, air filters come in various shapes and sizes. Over time they clog, reducing airflow and performance. High-performance filters, often reusable, improve airflow without sacrificing quality and are a popular upgrade.

Where it is located in the car? How should it be properly maintained?

The air filter is usually located inside an airbox in the engine bay, along the intake duct. All incoming air passes through it before mixing with fuel. Some vehicles use multiple filters or performance cone filters. Maintenance is simple: check every 10,000–15,000 km or once a year, and replace if dirty. In dusty areas, change more often. Reusable filters need proper cleaning and re-oiling. A clean filter ensures efficient breathing, protects internal parts, and maintains fuel economy.
