Scuderia Car Parts supplies genuine Ferrari exhausts to workshop professionals and private owners across more than 85 countries, with every component sourced directly from OEM manufacturers to the exact specification Ferrari requires. Whether you are working on a 488, an F8 Tributo, an SF90 Stradale or a classic F40, getting the right silencer means matching precise bore dimensions, material grades and mounting geometries — none of which tolerate approximation on a car engineered to these tolerances. Our inventory spans the full range, from the Portofino and Roma through to the 812 Superfast, GTC4Lusso, 296 GTB, Enzo and F50. Ferrari exhausts sourced from a dedicated exotic marque specialist means fitment advice comes with the part, not as an afterthought.

Ferrari Exhausts: Function, Materials and Engineering Specification

The exhaust system on a Ferrari manages the extraction of combustion gases from the engine, controls back-pressure to optimise power delivery, and reduces noise to within legally required limits. On high-output Ferrari engines — including the flat-plane V8 in the F8 Tributo and the V12 in the 812 Superfast — exhaust routing is tightly packaged and thermally demanding. Ferrari specifies high-grade stainless steel or titanium alloy for the exhaust pipe and muffler assemblies, with precise tube diameters calibrated to each engine's volumetric output. Gaskets, mounting brackets and heat shields are equally model-specific. A muffler designed for one platform will not transfer across models without compromising both performance and emissions compliance, making part-number accuracy essential at the point of ordering.

Location, Inspection and Maintenance of Ferrari Exhausts

Ferrari exhaust systems run from the exhaust manifolds at the cylinder heads, through mid-pipe sections, catalytic converters where fitted, and terminate at the rear diffuser via the back box and tailpipe outlets. On mid-engined cars such as the 296 GTB, 488 and SF90, the system sits within a confined engine bay, making thermal fatigue and joint integrity the primary concerns during inspection. Check mounting rubbers and flexi-sections for cracking at each service interval, and inspect weld points around the silencer body for corrosion or fracture, particularly on high-mileage cars. On the Roma and Portofino, the exhaust exits through a shaped rear bumper aperture, so any replacement component must match the original exit geometry exactly to avoid refitting issues.

The Case for OEM Exhausts on a Ferrari

Genuine Ferrari exhausts are manufactured to the same dimensional and material specifications as the original fitted component, which matters when emissions systems, lambda sensors and engine management calibrations are all engineered around a single defined exhaust flow characteristic. A non-genuine back box or exhaust pipe can introduce backpressure variances that trigger fault codes, affect fuelling maps or cause premature sensor failure. On cars still within warranty or subject to periodic factory inspection, OEM specification is not optional. Scuderia Car Parts works directly with authorised OEM supply chains to ensure that genuine Ferrari OEM exhausts are correctly identified by model and year before despatch, reducing the risk of incorrect fitment and wasted workshop time.
