Every rear exhaust solution is Street legal. There are two possible different solutions, with different valve control system:

TSBMWM2C16.001.AV BMW M2 F87 REAR EXHAUST w VALVE, OE CONTROL SYSTEM - It includes the electric valve without the electric engine: the OE electric engine should be mounted. This solution permits to the user to pilot the exhaust valve using SPORT and SPORT+ modes.

TSBMWM2C16.002.AV BMW M2 F87 REAR EXHAUST w VALVE, TUBI STYLE ExCU CONTOL SYSTEM - It includes the Tubi Style Exhaust Control Unit, the harness, the remote. The OE electric engine of the valve should be mounted on an emulator (included into the kit). The electric valve will be opened form the Tubi ExCU, trough the remote or the Tubi APP.

SPORT and SPORT+ mode will still work, but they will no longer command the exhaust valve.
