Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo have been one of the most distinguished marques in European car sales for over a century now, somehow retaining their image despite the emergence of their now more prestigious counterparts Ferrari and Lamborghini. Alfa Romeo struggled for profitability after the Second World War and shifted from making luxury cars to mass-producing small vehicles and was taken over by the dominant Italian mega-company, Fiat Group in the 1980s. Alfa has always had a formidable racing pedigree, winning the first ever Formula 1 drivers world championship and so it is no wonder that there are tuning packages offered for their road cars.
