Even before we saw Jeremy, James and Richard tackle these bends, this road was legendary. Be warned, though, it\u2019s not for the faint-hearted. You\u2019ll want to know that your brakes are in working order before setting off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      It\u2019s one of the best driving roads in Europe. It\u2019s not the longest of our routes, at around 56 miles. However, those twists and turns are unforgettable. Expect hairpin bends, steep descents and views of the Fagaras mountains, Balea Lake and stunning valleys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          Any supercar will deliver thrills as you go from Neuschwanstein Castle to the Wurzburg Residence, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We think that some German engineering is in order here, though. The Porsche Carrera GT<\/a> springs to mind for a spectacular open-top drive. It\u2019ll give you the best view of medieval towns and scenery straight from a fairytale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Crystal-clear waters, orange rooftops, oyster farms, wineries, lakes and rivers are all part of the adventure. It\u2019s not just for food and wine lovers, though. There\u2019s plenty of history with ancient palaces, Roman ruins and quaint medieval towns. If you\u2019re lucky enough to get your hands on a modern super, this is the ideal place to try it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              One of the best things about this route is that you can tailor it to the kind of road trip you want. Continue the luxury with castles and five-star accommodation. Alternatively, make it more wild and rugged with camping and fishing villages. It\u2019s up to you whether you want to focus on Scottish seafood, history or a visit to a distillery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                So far, we\u2019ve delivered some pretty picturesque options, but that word doesn\u2019t do this route justice. The Atlantic Road is one of the best driving roads in Europe. It includes eight bridges and an experience that gets you as close to the sea as possible. It\u2019s so breathtaking that you\u2019ll want to plan regular stops to take it all in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                The route is only slightly over five miles long. If your supercar is only just getting warmed up, then you don\u2019t have to stop there. You can continue exploring the fjords and get views of waterfalls, snowy mountains and otherworldly landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                  This drive delivers mountains, fjords, glaciers and active volcanoes. There\u2019s a reason that Iceland\u2019s called the land of fire and ice. Among those natural phenomena, you\u2019ll want to make stops at the impressive lagoons and beaches.
