It\u2019s sharper, thanks to the reworked chassis, and you\u2019ll feel that in the speed of its reaction and the precision, you\u2019ll harness with just a nudge of the wheel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is aided by the intuitive controls, a top speed of 202 mph and the ability to go from 0 – 62 mph in 3.5 seconds. The 30% power boost over its predecessor certainly doesn\u2019t hurt, either. The V8 engine delivers glorious sounds that add to the thrills. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Vantage doesn\u2019t lose its signature poise altogether. However, it\u2019s certainly more muscly and impressive. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s the most powerful 911 we\u2019ve seen for a while, with 641 hp. It comes with a supercar price tag, but it\u2019s by no means the most expensive car on this list. If you want to go one better than the Aston Martin Vantage in terms of speed and acceleration, then you\u2019ll be pleased to know the top speed is 205 mph, and it goes from 0 – 62 in 2.7 seconds with the Sport Chrono package.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Besides its athleticism, the fact that it\u2019s exciting and practical is what makes it stand out. It feels like a 911, but there\u2019s still so much to explore and appreciate. There\u2019s comfort with decent legroom, technology, and performance, which comes from the six-cylinder VTG twin-turbo engine. Driving it speaks for itself, but knowing the technical specs certainly adds to the appeal. Let\u2019s start with the impressive top speed, which is around 217 mph. The Maserati MC20 Cielo V6 engine delivers the power needed for this supercar to perform. It goes from 0 – 62 mph in around 3 seconds and has a top speed of 199 mph. Where the 992 model steps forward is in its striking and quite brutal appearance, which suits those who want to stand out. We couldn\u2019t finish the list without adding one more Lamborghini. The Huracan Tecnica is irresistible, and not just because it\u2019s likely to be the last of its line. It\u2019s another naturally aspirated engine with no hybrid powertrain in sight, making it a top choice for those who want supercars to fit into the traditional concept.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stylish and efficient, the Tecnica is distinct from other Lamborghinis and even other Huracans, with a chassis and aerodynamics that are unique. What we love most is how it makes you feel when driving it, although the sounds from the 5.2-litre V10 engine are a close second. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s a direct feeling to the ride that will have you surging forward with purpose. Part of that is down to the 631 hp and the fact that it\u2019s accurate and handles different roads with ease. It compares well to other supercars in terms of acceleration and speed, managing 0 – 62 mph in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. Novitec’s refinements for the Tecnica<\/a> are a great way to get that final 10% out of the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Nod to the Hypercars<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To create a list of the best supercars 2024, we had to think back over the recent releases. It brought several cars to mind, but some of them weren\u2019t quite right for this list. The reason is that they\u2019re hypercars and deserve their own list. We\u2019ve talked about what elevates a supercar to hypercar status<\/a> before, and comparing the two, especially in terms of price, isn\u2019t fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rimac Nevera<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2024 took us to new places, figuratively and literally. Croatia\u2019s hypercar, the Rimac Nevera, is electric, boasts amazing tech, superb engineering, high-quality performance and heaps of innovation. It\u2019s fast, going 0 – 62 mph in 1.81 seconds and has an impressive top speed of 256 mph.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bugatti Chiron Super Sport<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also couldn\u2019t finish this list without giving a nod to the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport. It’s iconic horse shoe grill and striking lines still make this one of the hottest cars money can buy, reaching a top speed of 273 mph and setting new standards for luxury and performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Koenigsegg CC850<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One last hypercar that blew us away in 2024 is the Koenigsegg CC850. It weighs 1,385 kg and produces 1,385 hp, which is mind-boggling. Every detail, inside and out, is spectacular. We love to see designers push the limits as it shows us what we can expect to see in the supercars of the future. It’s show piece is transmission, the ESS offers the best of both worlds, featuring a 6-speed manual with a clutch pedal for an engaging driving experience, alongside a fully automatic transmission that delivers ultra-fast, seamless shifting. Drivers can select their preferred mode and switch between them at any time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Will 2025 Bring?<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Based on what this year has brought us, car manufacturers are going to have to go above and beyond in 2025 to top these beauties. We\u2019re pretty partial to what\u2019s already out there, as some classics were born this year, but we\u2019re also curious and excited to see what\u2019s next.
