One hundred years later, the company and W.O.\u2019s motto\u00a0<\/span><\/span>is<\/span><\/span>\u00a0still relevant. Bentley is one of the most luxurious car brands on the market.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

How are Bentley celebrating their 100-year anniversary?<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

A series of exclusive celebrations throughout 2019<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>will<\/span>\u00a0showcas<\/span>e<\/span>\u00a0the evolution, achievements and heritage of the brand<\/span>\u00a0during its 100-year history.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The first opportunity for Bentley, and car enthusiasts, to join the celebrations was at the 44<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0Salon\u00a0<\/span>R\u00e9tromobile<\/span>. The Bentley stand featured the EXP 2, the first racing and oldest surviving Bentley model. The new Continental GT Convertible was also on display, demonstrating the<\/span>\u00a0brands journey in physical form.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bentley Centenary Edition<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Geneva Motor Show (7<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0\u2013 17<\/span>th<\/span>\u00a0March) will witness the launch of a special edition Bentley to celebrate the centenary year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There is very little information available at the time of writing, but a teaser image and video give a few clues about the release.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The teaser image features painted number 9 across a black grill, suggesting inspiration\u00a0<\/span>comes<\/span>\u00a0from the iconic 4 \u00bd litre Bentley Blower that raced at Le Mans 24 Hour in 1930.\u00a0<\/span>The theory\u00a0<\/span>is<\/span>\u00a0subs<\/span>tantiated through Bentley\u2019s\u00a0<\/span>preview video<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>which\u00a0<\/span>includes footage of the race<\/span>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
