The McLaren<\/a> <\/span>Speedtail is already one of the most coveted cars, and it has recently been announced that each owner has been invited by McLaren to personalise their car. Making the Speedtail that bit more special.<\/p>\n

Only 106 Speedtail\u2019s will be produced, \u00a0the first is expected to be delivered early next year, and the current deposit holders are in the process of customisation. Having now received a design portfolio from McLaren<\/a><\/span>, the Colours & Materials Inspiration Story, each owner will begin the process of tailoring the Speedtail to their personal tastes, with almost endless possibilities.<\/p>\n

The design portfolio contains three collections, Urbane, Visionary and Dynamic. This is what McLaren has said about each collection.<\/p>\n

Urbane<\/h3>\n

According to McLaren\u2019s press release, \u201cUrbane, is a collection of three themes which have been created to offer a discerning and refined feel, giving the Speedtail a sophisticated look with calm exterior hues, plus subtle and cool interior tones\u201d.<\/p>\n

Visionary<\/h3>\n

Described by McLaren as offering \u201ca purposeful and unmistakable look from moody, yet striking shades, to opulent and surprising touches.\u201d Giving a head nod to the UK\u2019s navy heritage, Visionary\u2019s Astral theme integrates the navy aesthetic, which includes bespoke navy seats, and digital print on nubuck bespoke navy leather upper trim.<\/p>\n

Dynamic<\/h3>\n

An \u201cexciting and modern\u201d collection that provides \u201cbold statements with sporty, futuristic and sumptuous themes.\u201d The bloodline theme as you can probably pick up on the name, emphasises on red. It\u2019s a bespoke red exterior and interior, \u00a0paired with gloss black diamond cut wheels and silver brake callipers.<\/p>\n

Part of the Dynamic collection, \u201cStratosphere\u201d, will give the Speedtail a gloss finish in carbon fibre that highlights the contours of the body kit. Airbrushed with light blue anodised aluminium, it will stand out.<\/p>\n

According to Jo Lewis, McLaren Automotive, Head of Colour and Material Design, the Speedtail is one of the company\u2019s, and industries, most ambitious projects. \u201cThe McLaren Speedtail is our most ambitious project to date and all were sold months before the car was even unveiled. This level of faith in McLaren products demands that we strive to even greater heights of detail and excellence. As a result of the meticulous study of colours, forms and textures by our design team, finding inspiration in areas that are uncharted in automotive design, we believe that we will achieve this with the look and feel of each individual Speedtail. Whilst only 106 customer cars will be built, it is important that each one is unique, so this tailored collection is quite simply, like no other \u2013 as is the McLaren Speedtail itself.\u201d<\/p>\n
